I feel really comfortable with the SAT, and I would rather just focus on that one test, but I don’t want to be limited when I’m applying to schools next year. I've heard that there are some schools that specifically require ACT scores (instead of either/or). Is this true?

**Nope! [All four-year colleges accept both tests](https://diycollegerankings.com/faqs/do-i-need-take-both-the-sat-and-act/).** If you'd rather focus on the SAT exclusively and ignore the ACT, that's totally fine. There are some [states that require ACT testing in high school](https://blog.prepscholar.com/which-states-require-the-act-full-list-and-advice), but there are no colleges that specifically ask for the ACT and not the SAT.
