**Would it be a good idea for me to switch to the ACT if I'm having trouble with the SAT?** I can't seem to get my score above a 1900 even though I'm one of the top students in my class. I think my issue with the SAT is that the questions are asked in indirect ways, and I can't figure out exactly what I need to know to do well. ---

**The ACT asks questions in a more straightforward way, so it might be a better fit for you than the SAT.** It's less about manipulating your knowledge to fit odd questions and more about directly demonstrating your mastery of certain concepts.
