I’m an international student interested in pursuing engineering at a top U.S. school. I recently raised my ACT score from a 28 to a 33! I feel that this accomplishment has opened a whole new set of doors for me, but I’m not sure where to start looking. Do you have a shortlist of schools that I can now confidently apply to?

Based solely on your ACT score, here are three schools that would be a good fit for you:

- [University of Michigan](https://www.engin.umich.edu/college/about/facts)
- [New York University](https://www.prepscholar.com/sat/s/colleges/NYU-admission-requirements)
- [Lehigh University](https://www.lehigh.edu/engineering/about/faq/)

I suggest checking out our page on "[Is 33 a Good ACT score?](https://www.prepscholar.com/act/s/scores/33-ACT-score-is-this-good)" for more suggestions. Not only does the page include lists of reach, same level, and safety schools for your score level, but you can search for a particular school and get your admission chances with a 33 ACT score.
