I've heard that at colleges like Harvard, Princeton, and Stanford every score above a 2250 is viewed similarly, but anything lower is dangerous. My SAT score is a 2240. Will it damage my chances?
There is no official score cutoff at these colleges, and your score is high enough that you have a good chance of being accepted. It's close to the average for admitted students. You shouldn't be concerned, especially if you have a high GPA and other impressive accomplishments to list on your application.
