I'm planning on applying for transfer to Georgetown or NYU, and I have an ACT score of 29. Should I retake the test, or is my score high enough for these schools already?
I would recommend doing more test prep and retaking the ACT. Your goal should be to raise your score at least two points. Georgetown has an average ACT score of 31, and NYU has an average ACT score of 30. Aim for a score that's at or above the average for your top choice school so that it won't have a negative impact on your chances of admission.
