I just read your article on the required classes of Ivy League schools. You really enforced the need of course difficulty throughout high school. I am a French immersion student and have been my entire life. I am going into high school (grade ten here) and the highest level class I can take in French for everything is 10-1 immersion, so the standard level courses. To graduate with my French diploma, which I really would like to do, I need at least 3 courses plus French in French, so I can only take 2 AP classes. Do you think an admission officer of a college would weigh immersion courses as a higher course difficulty? Because if not I am willing to drop French and go with full AP courses if it means a better chance of admission to an Ivy League or prestigious school. Thanks for your advice!
