Does Boston University Superscore the ACT?

I can't figure out whether Boston University superscores the ACT or not!

Technically, Boston University doesn't superscore the ACT, but it does consider your highest scores for each section. Here's a quote:

"The Board does not superscore the ACT; however, if you send in scores from multiple test dates, the Board of Admissions will consider the scores from each of the subcategories, noting the highest scores achieved for each. For this reason, we encourage applicants to submit scores from all ACT test dates as well."

They won't come up with an official "superscore," but they will look at your section scores from a superscoring perspective. If you want more details, send a message to admissions@bu.edu with your questions. For a full list of schools that superscore the ACT, check out this article.

You should also check on the program-specific application requirements for your field of study at BU in case there are other testing requirements you need to be aware of. Note that BU won't require submission of the SAT or ACT Writing section starting with students applying for September 2017 admission!
