My daugher, who normally excels in science, said that the science section of the ACT was brutal. Do students generally feel that it is very difficult?
What resources would you recommend to help her feel more confident for the next test date?

ACT Science can be confusing for many students because what's actually tested on it tends to be more related to reading comprehension skills than "Science" ability (especially since most ACT Science questions do not require any outside information to answer correctly).
My top recommendation for preparing for ACT Science is to use our (online and free) Ultimate Study Guide for ACT Science. This guide includes links to higher-level, strategy articles as well as skill-specific articles.
