I’ll be taking the SAT with Essay next week and I have a questions about scoring. I got a 1290 on my more recent practice test, but this is without the essay. How many points could the essay potentially add to my score?
Your essay score will not affect your composite score. As of March 2016, the SAT essay is scored separately from the rest of the SAT (since it is now optional).
