I'm a rising sophomore and an international student. My school does not offer AP classes, thus I am unwilling to take the exam. Will this hurt my college application?
Nope! You won't be penalized for not taking AP classes and tests if your school doesn't offer them. Just try to fill your schedule with the most challenging courses available to you. American universities are familiar with the differences in educational opportunities in other countries as compared to the US. They'll judge your application based on what resources are available to you, not based on how you compare to other students who attend schools that have AP courses.
